Yes, Yes, Yes I know it has been a while, but things have been slightly hectic at the fuller household. We absolutely love love love being back home again. More so than I ever imagined! The office is wonderful to me and being here at Christmas is so much fun! I have never been showered with so many gifts from the local community, patients and families, and local docs! I received a whole honey baked ham today!!
The kids are good and also loving being home again too. They love all the love and support from family and spending time at Feds Creek is one of Collier's favorite past time hobbies. He has developed a love for "Comet" Papaw Rod's horse!
Caroline is growing each day. She pulled up in her bed for the first time this week. She was home with me on Saturday, Rodney was working and Collier was in Feds Creek, she was taking a nap when I thought I heard her. I looked at her in the monitor and she was standing up in her crib! I wished I had grabbed my camera for this first in her life, but when I got to her, she was so excited that she let go and fell backwards into her crib. Now all she wants to do is stand up and hold on, but very wobbley on her feet at that! We have no carpet in our house, so she is constantly bumping into things and bumping her head! Mom says she gets that from me.
Collier went to his first Pikeville High basketball game last night and had the most fun with his daddy. Now he says he wants to be a basketball player when he grows up! Wonder where he gets that from??? =)

Thought I might give you all a little update on our lives. I promise to publish some pictures as soon as I get the internet at home! (waiting on Rodney is like pulling teeth. I probably need to just do it myself!)

God Bless and Have a Merry Christmas!!

Turkey Day at Mrs. Karen's

Thursday, November 20th, 2008
Sorry for the delay in getting some pictures posted, but things around the Fuller household have been a little hectic.
The bottom picture is absolutely one of my favorites! Even though they are mine, they are still the most adorable kids on the planet. Yes, Mrs. Karen took these pictures and they were not even Halloween pictures. These are the traditional Turkey pictures to celebrate Thanksgiving. The one in the middle of them is their last day with her. :( We miss her terribly, but they are getting used to Katie, or Kay Kay as Collier calls her now.
Hopefully, I will get some more pictures on here so you can see how they are growing!
God Bless....Meg

Our Move is FINALLY OVER!!!

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

Today has finally arrived and is bitter sweet to say the least. We finally ended a chapter of our lives by closing on our house in Lexington and moving back to the mountains that I so desperately missed. It has been a long long long three weeks for us at the Fuller household with moving and beginning a new job, but we are getting adjusted. As I type this message, my wonderful husband, Rodney, is still cleaning out the Uhaul at our rental house in the snow!! We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel though.

Today was especially hard for me. As Rodney and I were finishing the last touches of moving our things out of our house, it finally hit me that we were leaving Lexington for good and the house that I brought my baby girl home to. As I stood in the middle of her empty nursery, I wept. Not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy that God had blessed me with a wonderful and amazing family. I will miss my intimate times with her at night in that special nursery while she nursed and we talked to Jesus. I can honestly say that I was drawn closer to Him during those late nights when she and I were all alone. I prayed for her to become a strong woman of God, to surrender her life to Him and serve Him all of her days. I also prayed for my little man, Collier, as well. That he too would be a warrior for Christ and love his family with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. Leaving that nursery and our house was difficult for me today, and my keyboard is wet with tears as I type this message, but I believe that God has a plan for our lives and right now, Pikeville is where He wants us. I am anxious to see what he has in store for us next!

I will post some recent pictures soon! I am still trying to get back into rhythm again!

Ta Ta for now....God Bless You, always!!

I've Been Tagged!

So, I guess I have to display 7 random facts about myself to others that may or may not know them...

Here goes...
1) I am a Christian and I Love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with all of my heart.

2) When I am driving to work in the mornings, all alone, I turn KLOVE radio up loud and sing to the top of my lungs!

3) I love to take baths, even though most of the time these days, I have two companions, Collier and Caroline.

4) I love to travel, anywhere, but don't get to do it as often as I would like.

5) I absolutely love Graeter's Ice Cream, Raspberry chip especially!

6) I love to wear flip flops and wish I could wear them year round!

7) I am a reality TV junkie! Anything and everything (with the exception of Survivor!)

There it is...don't be suprised!

OK and an update on the kids...Papaw Rod and Aunt Pat made it out alive, exhausted, but alive! Although when I got home last night, Caroline was screaming at the top of her lungs and Pat was doing anything and everything to please her. After dinner at Cracker Barrel, we headed home for a good night's rest.
So ready for the weekend!!

Papaw Rod and Aunt Pat's Adventure

Well, yesterday was a very eventful day in the Fuller household. Papaw Rod and Aunt Pat survived their first attempt at babysitting the Fuller Children, AND SURVIVED!! They were both exhausted last night after eating dinner at 8:30pm and fell in bed just in time to get up and do it all again today! Oh yeah, about dinner at 8:30....me and my big mouth....again....
After picking up the kids from Karen's on Wednesday, I was being nice, or so I thought at the time, and asked her if she, Matthew, or Mark needed flu shots. I offered to bring one home from the office and give them on Thursday...I didn't know at the time that Rod and Pat were coming to keep the kids and I wouldn't have to go to Karen's and get them (which is 20 more minutes out of my way). She and Matthew needed them as well as some of the other parents and kids, so being the NICE person that I am, I said OK. Long story short, I had to go to Karen's yesterday anyway to be the mean doctor and give flu shots to several. After carrying on a conversation with Karen.....for a loooooooong time, I went home to find that Caroline was screaming in her bouncy seat and Pat was doing all she could do to please her. As soon as she saw me coming, she smiled instantly and knew that DINNER had arrived...she is such a mommy's girl!! As I was feeding her, Rodney came in with Terri and Tom McGraw to look at the basement door that has leaked since we moved in and to discuss realtor options for the house. So dinner was postponed again even later. Once again, long story short, we opted for pizza that was delivered at 8pm and finally took our first bite at 9pm. Caroline fell in her bed at 830 and Collier was PUT in his bed at 1030...needless to say he was not happy! He wanted to stay up longer and play with his trains....he probably had too much sugar and pop if the truth be known! Anyway, the weekend is fast approaching and who knows what we will be getting into....
I am sure there will be something funny to include on my Monday entry.....

Mommy's little prince and princess...

I guess I should say I have the best babies in the world. Collier doesn't like it when I call him a baby but I tell him "You will always be mommy's baby, even when you are 100." Something my momma always said to me.

Collier is now 3 1/2 and growing so fast. He is such a joy to be around (most of the time) and keeps us laughing at all the sayings he comes up with. I will post some of the "funnies" later that I have recorded in his baby book. I can't wait to see what he is going to grow up to be and I pray each day that he will be a GREAT man of God, a wonderful husband and daddy, and very prosperous in whatever life field he chooses. These are some pictures of him from "Fall Picture" day at Ms. Karens. He has been photographed so many times that he automatically says "cheese" when we pull the camera out!!

My angel, Caroline, is such a joyous addition to our family and her big brother absolutely adores her. These are a few early pictures of her from this summer. I tell Rodney each day that if God promised me that all my babies would be as good as her, I would have 5 more!! He laughs and says NO WAY! We're done....for now anyways.........

Collier and Caroline are staying with Papaw Rod and Aunt Pat today and tomorrow! I have only gotten a few phone calls today regarding Caroline's feeding schedule, so keeping my fingers crossed that everything is going well. I shall keep you posted!

My first....blog that is...

After much coercion from others, I have decided to join the bandwagon and begin displaying some tidbits of our lives online for others to enjoy. Yes, I know, most of you are saying that I am a slight bit late as our first, Collier Lee, is already 3, but someone very wise once told me, it is never too late to start!!

So sit back and enjoy the ride...
Here it goes..
